Join Heartland Community College Humanities Professor Dr. Wayne Bass as he reveals how these epic narratives have shaped — and continue to shape — religious ideals and cultural identities in Asia and beyond. Bass holds a master’s degree in Religious Studies from the University of Tennessee and a Ph.D. in Asian Languages and Cultures from UCLA. His academic and teaching interests center on the mingling and evolution of cultures throughout history, particularly in the area of religion.
